Uit Mechelen Mapt, het vrije naslagwerk over Mechelen

The Vrouwvliet is small stream, streaming through the northern districts of the city of Mechelen. Beside the stream is a path that is frequented by the locals, when they want to look up a quiet, relaxing environment (an escape from the hectic city life). The stream is part of the city's spatial planning, which says there should be a "green belt" in the north.

It bounds several city districs together and is excellent for cycling and promenading. A point of interest is the Tivoli park.
